Global Conscience welcomes any one wishing to do Volunteer work in our offices. We give our Volunteers a 2 - 4 week intensive training depending on their academic back ground. The training programme is aimed at equipping volunteers with international human rights norms, National laws relating to human rights and investigative journalism skills. Our training course covers a wide scheme to adequately prepare volunteers for monitoring, reporting and documentation and other activities in our offices.

Volunteers who demonstrate proficiency during the initial training programme are short-listed to participate in an advanced training programme to learn effective counseling, training and litigation techniques. Volunteers who qualify at this level are expected to contribute 10 - 12 hours each week and to continue with the Centre for a period of not less than 2 months, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Volunteers work in our offices and in the field and are very helpful in the collection and documentation of data. We also prepare our volunteers to train grassroots community and civil society leaders, and to create youth clubs and women groups at various levels.

Why not volunteer your time with the Global Conscience Initiative Cameroon in the service for humanity? We try to bring home captives and comfort the afflicted, and we do most of our work for free, in the firm believe that we make a contribution to the realization of the inherent dignity of the human kind.
